You must have a lab requisition from your BC health care provider (for example, blood tests, urine or stool samples),

Please note: testing can be limited due to our rural and remote setting.

To book a lab appointment, clinic staff must receive a copy of your lab requisition.

You will be given an appointment date, time and any specific instructions for your test.

On the day of your appointment:

• Please be on time.

• Bring your BC Services Card or BC Driver’s Licence with your Personal Health Number (PHN).

Dropping off a sample? Specimen Drop-Off (urine, FIT/stool):

• Drop off before 11:00 am on a Wednesday/Thursday lab day unless instructed otherwise

• Remember to write the date and time of collection on your requisition or sample, to ensure your test is processed

If you have your lab work done in greater Victoria AND are a patient at the Pender Islands Medical Clinic, you may qualify for the Travel Assistance Program. Please inquire at the clinic front desk.
