Travel Assistance for eligible specialist appointments off Pender
Community Health Services
Two Community Nurses provide nursing and case management for the Island Health Home Supports program and palliative care services on Pender.
Public Health Nursing
A Visiting Nurse comes to Pender on a regular basis to provide preventative health programs such as baby clinics and school health education.
Travel Assistance Program
This Ministry of Health program helps with some transportation costs for BC residents who must travel within BC for specialty services not available in their own community.
