Tony Wolcott, Board Member

After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree and a teaching certificate from Simon Fraser

University, Tony moved to the Okanagan, where he taught secondary school English

and mathematics. During his time in Armstrong and Vernon, he coached a provincial

championship basketball team while actively playing both lacrosse and basketball.

Following ten years in education, Tony transitioned to outdoor work, establishing a

landscaping business before specializing in arboriculture. His commitment to continuous

learning led him to achieve certification as both a Board Certified Master Arborist and

Registered Consulting Arborist. He has served as an urban forester for the City of San

Francisco and the municipalities of Albany and Yountville.

An avid reader with a passion for writing poetry and short stories, Tony brings extensive
