Where Caring and Community
Come Together
The Pender Islands Health Centre houses a primary care medical clinic, dental practice, allied health and wellness practitioners, and community support programs.
Access to the Health Centre is by appointment only.
If you are feeling unwell, have travelled out of the area in the past ten days, or would prefer protection, please use a medical mask. Supplies are at each entrance. We know what a difference simple practices like safe distancing, hand sanitizing, and masking can make. Your assistance is appreciated.
For COVID-19 vaccinations, visit the BC Centre for Disease Control. For up-to-date information on COVID-19, visit the BC Centre for Disease Control’s data page.
Built by the community, for the community
Health Care Society
The Society operates the Health Centre, facilitating access to primary health care and complementary services to support the health and wellbeing of the community.
Our History
How our Health Centre came to be is a fascinating story of community determination and generosity, and years of “making do” before the facility opened in 1981.
